I wrote 'Same Old Blues' in 2004 which was the last time I tried to get a band together. It was originally a slow Ragtime type song but when I started getting the tracks down in 2023 to record it for the first time I increased the tempo and it is now a hybrid of blues(thanks to my guitar) and jazz(thanks to Sam Ryan's trumpet playing and Nicky Steel's vocals.
