I wrote ‘Another Day Gone By’ in 2004. It is one of the few ballads I have written and is a light song about reflecting on how short and sweet life is. The message is make the most of every day, don’t drown in misery, the world still has mysteries and your dreams can still come true.

In this song Jessica’s voice is sweet and uplifting and matches the mood perfectly. This is her first recording as a lead vocalist – you will be hearing more of her on upcoming releases. Daphne’s beautiful background vocals were improvised by her in a short session and were entirely her own response to Jessica’s beautiful rendition without any guidance or instructions from me. This is our first production and is more keyboard oriented than previous releases. However, I still managed to find room for a guitar solo I am happy with that matches the mood of the song perfectly. Hope you enjoy this as much as me.

The guitar solo was done on 10/06/22 and the rhythm guitar was altered on 18/06/22.
New drum tracks were done on 02/07/22.
Kagen Step did the final mastered version on 13/07/22.
