I wrote 'Torn In Two' in 1983 or 1984 after I had left The Immaculate Crows.I performed it with Insurrection and The Popes and briefly with The Immaculate Crows when I reunited with them before we broke up around May 1985. I retained the same melody and chord structure but reduced the solo from what it used to be. It features the debut of Brandon Webb on vocals. I think it captures the mood of the original well and overall I am pretty happy with it.

Carolyn produced the initial drums and bass tracks on 23rd, 24th and 28th May 2023. The bass and drums were changed on 3 August 2023 and Brandon's vocals were recorded on 6 August 2023. I changed my guitar solo and added rhythm guitar in the solo section on 17 August 2023. I added a synth to the intro and Carolyn added Mellotoon on 7 November 2023. Not sure when I did the original rhythm guitar tracks or when we added piano tracks. Bruce Neilsen
