I wrote 'Valley of Tears' on my birthday 15 June 2021. It was inspired by reflecting on the many years of my youth that I suffered depression due to being a chronic Asthmatic, being bullied and having a poor self-image. I came to terms with this after I began studying Psychology but the scars remain to some degree. It is about facing the spectre of death and wondering if one really made the most of their life before departing on the bus to the 'Valley of Tears'.
It is pretty grim and intense and a weird blend of Alternative, Psychedelic and Blues-Rock verging on hard rock. Probably the best guitar I have recorded to date.
